My passion for horses and creating art began as a young girl. At around age six, I experienced an event that changed my life. I rode a pony at the Philadelphia Zoo. Those five minutes began a life-long need to know these amazing creatures. Throughout my childhood, I spent most of my time drawing, riding or learning about horses. And over the past 19 years, I enjoyed the companionship of a very special horse named Rose who taught me patience, responsibility and inspired much of my work.

My higher education began with an Associate Degree in Equine Science from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Since my spare time was spent drawing, I decided to gain formal art training and pursue a degree in art. In 1999, I earned a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts (Communication Design/Illustration) at Kutztown University in Kutztown, Pennsylvania.

Currently, I reside in Pennsylvania with my husband, Erik, my son Asher, my dog and my horse not too far away. Over the past few years, Iíve been painting watercolor commissioned horse portraits and creating abstract figurative art.
